Intergalactic Comix

I have been putting together another small comic booklet for the kids' cartoon workshop that I have been doing at the Maritime Museum in New London, CT. This is the cover illustration, which I put together from the kids' cartoons and added some simple color with the computer. What is interesting about this particular cover is that the central image and title were done by a kid with Down's syndrome. He works very slowly, and erases about three times as much as he draws, but he is very focussed and diligent, and it was a pleasure to see him succeed. He is home-schooled, and his mother is apparently doing a great job.
