Opinions needed

I am working on a counting book and trying to decide which direction to take with the illustrations. Sample A is a departure from my usual style and Sample B is more typical. The book is pretty upbeat in tone, so I am wondering if A would be better? (Apologies to those who already saw this on Facebook).

I love them both, Philomena but my favorite is the more realistic pigs. Even though they are realistic, they still have SO much personality!

Also, maybe you could have the cute up close face in the second layout as well and even the county fair stuff in the background...combine the two.

I love the realistic pigs, the way they are drawn. And I like the layout and the playful positions of the pigs in A. So, if you redrew A just with the pigs more your regular style, but still goofing around with legs in the air, funny mouth open etc, it would be super fantastic! They are very engaging, and the layout of A draws us in, with the pig in the foreground, and the fair details.

I agree with Leanne. It's more interesting to see them romping in the county fair setting and with the added dimension of the closeup pig in foreground, but I'd like them more nicely drawn as in B.

Philomena I agree with them all. I like the pigs in B and the setting in A. Soooo cute!

I like A much better also, I love the expression of the pig in the foreground which draws me into the other little piggies. Very nice.
