KUSTOM KOMIX

Here is the cover of a comic book produced by the kids in a cartoon workshop that I am teaching -- or at least I pass out the paper and pencils -- in New London, Connecticut.  I suggested the desert island idea, and then each of the nine kids in the class added their own touch of insanity.  I did the Photoshop color.

I LOVE this kind of insanity, Jon. My 11 year old and his buddy just collaborated on a comic titled "Leo and Owen and the Muffin of Destiny." It involves ninjas, of course.

This is great, Jennifer that you are teaching kids cartoon workshop. I just bought a Balinese cartoon magazine and I'll post it in my blog soon. It will be interesting to see a cartoon in that part of the world.I'll continue to follow your blog once I reach Vietnam tomorrow. Am still in Bali now.

Fun stuff! How old are the kids?

It was a sort of one-room schoolhouse. They ranged from 8 to 15.

brilliant! The colour really sets it off too, reminds me of some of the classic early 20C strips like Kinderkids and Little Nemo.
