New Fur-Baby...

We have a new baby at our house. She is Cladina, a newfie pup - granddaughter of our 7 year old Mikinaak, and niece of 4 year old Nisse. She has, naturally, wormed her way instantly into our hearts. She has also worked her way into my sketch journal, and it will be interesting to see, over time, where else she ends up, illustration-wise.
And why would we add a 3rd dog, when life was so nice and fun and peaceful with two? Because we're crazy, that's why.

What a lovely, warm, cuddle of fun. And she is family, so what could you do but welcome her in!

Might be time to hide your slippers though.

Oh my goodness! I am SO in love with Newfies, Consie!! I've never owned one yet but I just may be coming to you down the road for advice. Up to now, I have only had eyes for golden retrievers but I just keep seeing these wonderful dogs out and about so maybe it's a sign. :o). Anyway, thanks for sharing...loved it! Enjoy Cladina! Sounds like she will be loved dearly.

These pictures made my day too. You could rent her out for big bucks. There's nothing like puppy breath and that soft puppy fur!
