Indiana Jones Roboticus

I just finished this up last night around 1:00 a.m. It was pretty much just for fun. I put a bunch of step by step stuff on my blog if anyone's curious. http://www.breadwig.com/2007/05/24/indybot/

Wow! How long does it take you to do something like that, compared to the amount of time it would take you with 2-D media?

Hey Jon, that took me about two days. Of course once I have him built, I can now put him in diffent poses and situations, and then I just have to hit the render button, so that's a plus. All my 2d work is very flat and cartoony, so I don't know how long it would take to paint something like that. For me, probably a loooong time.

This robot is so 'You' Bryan. I would have been able to pick him out of a line-up as your creation :o)

And how I wish I could design all my 2d characters and make them 3d so that I could position and view them from any angle... but I feel the learning curve might be a bit much for me.
Thanks for the step-by-step process.

Thanks June! If you lived in north east Indiana you could take my introduction to 3d class and I'd show you how to build your characters in 3d. :)
